UPAYA GURU PAI DALAM MENANAMKAN NILAI-NILAI AKHLAK PESERTA DIDIK SMP DI NIDAUL QUR’AN TANJUNG KECAMATAN BATHIN VIII KABUPATEN SAROLANGUN

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis secara komprehensif upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai akhlak pada peserta didik di SMP Nidaul Al-Qur’an Tanjung, Kecamatan Bathin VIII, Kabupaten Sarolangun. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek utama guru PAI. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara sistematis. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan kriteria kredibilitas (triangulasi), transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas untuk menjamin validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai akhlak dilakukan secara terencana dan berkelanjutan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran yang terstruktur, keteladanan guru, pembiasaan harian, bimbingan personal, penggunaan metode pembelajaran variatif, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan, pengawasan perilaku, pendekatan integratif, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, pelibatan orang tua, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi perbedaan latar belakang keluarga, pengaruh lingkungan eksternal, keterbatasan waktu dan fasilitas, variasi karakter serta kedisiplinan siswa, rendahnya motivasi belajar agama, hingga padatnya agenda sekolah. Dalam merespons tantangan tersebut, guru menerapkan penguatan pembiasaan, kolaborasi intensif dengan orang tua, inovasi metode pembelajaran, pendekatan disiplin humanis, motivasi spiritual, evaluasi perilaku berbasis apresiasi, serta dukungan institusional sekolah.
This study aims to comprehensively analyze the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling moral values in students at SMP Nidaul Al-Qur’an Tanjung, Bathin VIII District, Sarolangun Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with PAI teachers serving as the primary subjects. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted systematically through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. To ensure the validity and trustworthiness of the findings, the study applied credibility (triangulation), transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria. The findings reveal that the cultivation of moral values is carried out in a planned and sustainable manner through structured lesson planning, teacher role modeling, daily habituation practices, personal guidance, the use of varied instructional methods, religious extracurricular activities, behavioral supervision, an integrative approach, the utilization of learning media, parental involvement, and continuous evaluation. The challenges encountered include differences in family backgrounds, external environmental influences, limited instructional time and facilities, variations in students’ character and discipline, low motivation in learning religion, and a dense school agenda. In addressing these challenges, teachers strengthen daily habituation, intensify collaboration with parents, implement innovative teaching methods, apply a humanistic disciplinary approach, provide spiritual motivation, conduct behavior-based evaluative appreciation, and seek institutional support from the school.
