MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI REFLEKSI

Abstrak

Dalam penelitian ini, penerapan model Problem Based Learning digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek 31 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Palu. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik serta tes tertulis pada akhir setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan, di mana aktivitas guru dan peserta didik meningkat dari kategori baik ke sangat baik. Rata-rata nilai peserta didik meningkat dari 68 menjadi 81,03, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 67,74% menjadi 83,87%. Peningkatan ini menandakan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif dan memotivasi peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis serta aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan penerapan model ini, diharapkan proses pembelajaran matematika menjadi lebih bermakna dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep refleksi secara mendalam. Model ini dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika pada materi refleksi.

In this study, the application of the Problem Based Learning model was used to improve student learning outcomes in the reflection material. The classroom action research was conducted in two cycles with 31 students of grade XI of SMA Negeri 4 Palu as subjects. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities and written tests at the end of each cycle. The results showed a significant improvement, where teacher and student activities increased from the good to very good category. The average student score increased from 68 to 81.03, and the percentage of learning completion increased from 67.74% to 83.87%. This increase indicates that the application of the Problem Based Learning model is able to create a more interactive learning atmosphere and motivate students to think critically and actively in the learning process. With the application of this model, it is expected that the mathematics learning process will be more meaningful and able to increase the understanding of the concept of reflection in depth. This model can be one of the options in efforts to improve the quality of mathematics learning in the reflection material.
