Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi manajemen lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini melalui hasil observasi di TK Islam Terpadu Mahdi Alif yang berlokasi di Jln. Binjai-Bahorok, Dusun III KW. Serdang, Kabupaten Langkat. Lembaga ini menjadi objek studi karena memiliki struktur manajemen yang lengkap dan aktif dalam mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penelitian dilakukan selama dua hari pada tanggal 27 dan 28 Mei 2025 dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung dan wawancara semi-terstruktur kepada kepala sekolah serta guru. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada lima aspek utama manajemen pendidikan, yaitu manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran, sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, keuangan, serta hubungan dengan orang tua dan masyarakat. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan RPPH dilakukan oleh guru secara kolaboratif dan dievaluasi secara rutin. Perekrutan guru menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan latar belakang pendidikan yang relevan. Sarana dan prasarana dikelola dengan sistem pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi guru baru. Perencanaan keuangan dilakukan secara transparan melalui rapat bersama antara guru dan komite sekolah. Keterlibatan orang tua cukup aktif, khususnya dalam kegiatan besar yang diselenggarakan sekolah. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia berkualifikasi dan keterbatasan fasilitas, semangat kolaboratif serta dukungan masyarakat menjadi potensi besar bagi pengembangan lembaga ini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TK Islam Terpadu Mahdi Alif telah menjalankan fungsi manajerial secara cukup efektif dalam rangka menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang aman, nyaman, dan mendidik bagi anak usia dini.

This study aims to describe the implementation of educational management in early childhood education institutions through field observation at TK Islam Terpadu Mahdi Alif, located on Binjai-Bahorok Street, Dusun III KW. Serdang, Langkat Regency. The school was selected due to its active organizational structure and commitment to improving early childhood learning. The research was conducted over two days, May 27–28, 2025, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation and semi-structured interviews with the principal and teachers. The observation focused on five main aspects of educational management: curriculum and learning management, human resource management, facilities and infrastructure, financial planning, and the relationship between the school and the parents/community. Findings show that the Daily Lesson Plan (RPPH) is collaboratively developed by teachers and reviewed weekly. Teacher recruitment is adjusted based on educational background and genuine interest in early childhood education, with encouragement to pursue higher qualifications. New teachers undergo a three-month training period under the supervision of senior educators. Financial planning is transparent and discussed in meetings with teachers and the school committee. Parental involvement is active, particularly during major school events such as Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, and religious celebrations. Although the school faces challenges, including a shortage of qualified personnel and limited facilities, its strong community support and collaborative culture offer significant potential for institutional development. In conclusion, TK Islam Terpadu Mahdi Alif demonstrates effective management practices in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for early childhood learners.
