ANALISIS KESULITAN SISWA DALAM MEMBACA PERMULAAN DI KELAS I SD NEGERI 1 SEULALAH

Membaca mlerupakan salah satu aspek keteramlpilan berbahasa yang harus dimliliki oleh siswa. MLemlbaca pada tingkat permlulaan adalah kegilatan belajar mlengenal bahasa tulils dan silswa diltuntut untuk mlenyuarakan lamlbang-lamlbang bunyil bahasa. Peneliltilan ilnil bertujuan untuk mlendeskrilpsilkan kesuliltan silswa dalaml mlemlbaca permlulaan, mlenganalilsils faktor-faktor yang mlenghamlbat silswa dalaml mlemlbaca permlulaan dan mlengetahuil upaya guru dalaml mlengatasil kesuliltan silswa dalaml mlemlbaca permlulaan dil kelas 1 SD Negeril 1 Seulalah. Teknilk pengumlpulan data dalaml peneliltilan ilnil mlenggunakan wawancara, observasil dan dokumlentasil. Teknilk analilsils data pada mletode peneliltilan deskrilptilf kualiltatilf yailtu reduksil data, penyajilan data dan penarilkan kesilmlpulan. Hasill peneliltilan mlenujukkan bahwa kesuliltan mlemlbaca permlulaan silswa kelas 1 SD Negeril 1 Seulalah yailtu: (1) beluml bilsa mlemlbaca huruf vokal, (2) beluml bilsa mlemlbaca huruf konsonan, (3) beluml bilsa mlemlbaca suku kata, (4) beluml bilsa mlemlbaca kata, (5) beluml bilsa mlemlbaca kalilmlat atau paragraf. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mlengamlbat silswa dalaml mlemlbaca permlulaan adalah (1) faktor filsilologils, (2) mlilnat mlemlbaca yang rendah, (3) gangguan pada daya ilngat, (4) faktor lilngkungan, (5) kurangnya dukungan daril keluarga. Upaya yang dillakukan oleh guru antara lailn: bilmlbilngan terhadap anak yang kurang dalaml mlengenalil huruf dan mlenerapkan pendekatan Sekolah Anak Cerdas (SAC) untuk mlenanganil silswa yang mlemlillilkil kesuliltan mlemlbaca permlulaan.
Reading is one aspect of language skills that must be mastered by students. Reading at the beginning level is an activity of learning to recognize written language and students are required to pronounce the symbols of language sounds. This study aims to describe students' difficulties in beginning reading, analyze the factors that hinder students in beginning reading and find out the teacher's efforts in overcoming students' difficulties in beginning reading in grade 1 of SD Negeri 1 Seulalah. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques in the qualitative descriptive research method are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the difficulties in beginning reading of grade 1 students of SD Negeri 1 Seulalah were: (1) not being able to read vowels, (2) not being able to read consonants, (3) not being able to read syllables, (4) not being able to read words, (5) not being able to read sentences or paragraphs. The factors that hinder students in beginning reading are (1) physiological factors, (2) low interest in reading, (3) memory disorders, (4) environmental factors, (5) lack of support from the family. Efforts made by teachers include: guidance for children who are less able to recognize letters and implementing the Smart Children's School (SAC) approach to handle students who have difficulty in beginning reading.
