PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMA NEGERI DI KABUPATEN TOBA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1) pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba; 2) pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba; dan 3) pengaruh kepemimpinan dan komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi adalah guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba yang berjumlah 416 orang dan ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 84 orang yakni sekitar 20% dari jumlah populasi. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket tertutup sebanyak 100 item. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: 1) nilai Fhitung > Ftabel antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru yaitu 32,266 > 3,15 dengan demikian diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba. Pengaruh tersebut yakni sebesar 28,2%, 2) nilai Fhitung > Ftabel antara komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru yaitu 18,925 > 3,15 dengan demikian diketahui bahwa pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba. Pengaruh tersebut yaitu sebesar 18,8%, dan 3) nilai Fhitung > Ftabel antara kepemimpinan dan komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru yaitu 19,477 > 3,15 dengan demikian diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan dan komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba. Pengaruh kepemimpinan dan komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Toba yaitu sebesar 32,5% dengan demikian Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.
The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the influence of principal leadership on the performance of state senior high school teachers in Toba Regency; 2) the influence of principal interpersonal communication on the performance of state senior high school teachers in Toba Regency; and 3) the influence of principal leadership and interpersonal communication together on the performance of state senior high school teachers in Toba Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. The population is 416 state senior high school teachers in Toba Regency and a sample of 84 people is determined, which is around 20% of the population. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire of 100 items. The results of the data analysis show that: 1) the Fcount value > Ftable between the principal's leadership and teacher performance is 32.266 > 3.15, thus it is known that there is an influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of teachers at State Senior High Schools in Toba Regency. The influence is 28.2%, 2) the Fcount value > Ftable between the principal's interpersonal communication and teacher performance is 18.925 > 3.15, thus it is known that the influence of the principal's interpersonal communication on the performance of teachers at State Senior High Schools in Toba Regency. The influence is 18.8%, and 3) the Fcount value > Ftable between the principal's leadership and interpersonal communication on teacher performance is 19.477 > 3.15, thus it is known that there is an influence of the principal's leadership and interpersonal communication on the performance of teachers at State Senior High Schools in Toba Regency. The influence of the principal's leadership and interpersonal communication on the performance of teachers at State Senior High Schools in Toba Regency is 32.5%, thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected
