ANALISIS HAMBATAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN “ARITMATIKA SOSIAL” DI KELAS VII SMP NEGERI WEKFAU KABUPATEN MALAKA KECAMATAN SASITAMEAN TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan belajar yang dialami oleh siswa pada pembelajaran artimatika sosial saat kegiatan belajar – mengajar berlangsung didalam kelas. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP NEGERI Wekfau pada tanggal 26 April 2023. Pengumpulan Data dalam penelitian ini di lakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, soal materi aritmatika sosial dan dokumentasi. Sebelum melakukan wawancara terlebih dahulu siswa memperoleh penjelasan mengenai materi artimatika sosial, kemudian diberikan 1 contoh soal dan 1 latihan soal sebagai tes. Setelah tes dan wawancara di laksanakan kemudian dari Hasil tersebut di analisis dan diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat beberapa hambatan yang dialami oleh siswa yaitu : kurangnya daya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami soal cerita, pada saat melakukan perhitungan pun masih ada beberapa siswa yang mengalami kebingungan sehingga hasilnya kurang tepat, dikarenakan siswa lebih memilih berhitung menggunakan jari tangan atau hanya sekedar membayangkan saja. Kesulitan siswa terkait dengan keterampilan dapat dilihat dari kesulitan siswa dalam operasi hitung penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian maupun pembagian dan penulisan nilai tempat bilangan, serta siswa kesulitan dalam menuliskan angka ribuan dan jutaan.
This study aims to determine the learning barriers experienced by students in learning social arithmetic when teaching and learning activities take place in the classroom. The subjects of this study were class VII students of SMP NEGERI Wekfau on April 26 2023. Data collection in this study was carried out using the method of observation, interviews, questions on social arithmetic material and documentation. Prior to conducting the interviews, the students first obtained an explanation of the social arithmetic material, then were given 1 sample question and 1 practice question as a test. After the tests and interviews were carried out, the results were analyzed and it was concluded that there were several obstacles experienced by students, namely: the lack of students' ability to understand word problems, even when doing calculations there were still some students who were confused so the results were not quite right. , because students prefer to count using their fingers or just imagine it. Students' difficulties related to skills can be seen from students' difficulties in arithmetic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and writing place value numbers, as well as students' difficulties in writing thousands and millions of numbers
