PENGARUH POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP TINGKAT STRES PADA SISWA BROKEN HOME DI SMAN 9 PADANG TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of parental parenting and emotional intelligence on stress levels in students from broken home families in grade XI of SMAN 9 Padang for the 2024/2025 school year. The type of research used is quantitative and focuses on students who experience broken home families. The results of the study showed that there was an inaccuracy in the application of parental parenting and a decrease in emotional intelligence on the level of stress in students from broken home families by 98.1% The main impact included a lack of inaccuracy in the application of parental parenting and a decrease in emotional intelligence, which had an impact on increasing the stress level of students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the influence of parental parenting and emotional intelligence on stress levels in broken home students at SMAN 9 Padang is very high. The solution is for parents to pay more attention to the implementation of good parenting at home and factors that support the improvement of children's emotional intelligence conditions which have an impact on children's stress levels.
