PENGARUH PENGGUNAA MEDIA SOSIAL TIKTOK TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA DI SMKS SEMEN PADANG

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of TikTok social media use on students' interest in learning at SMK Semen Padang. The type of research used in this study is quantitative using a correlational research method. The sampling technique used is total sampling. And the students who were the sample in this study amounted to 65 students. The instrument used in data collection in this study was a questionnaire arranged according to the Likert model. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS 25. Based on the results of this study, it is known that using a simple linear regression test, a correlation value of 0.360 was obtained. And the coefficient of determination (R Squared) was obtained of 0.130, that there is an influence of the TikTok application variable on the learning interest variable of 13%. In conclusion, the influence of the use of TikTok social media on learning interest has an effect on students' learning interest in class.
