PENGARUH LATIHAN FISIK TERHADAP FATIGUE PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT GINJAL KRONIK YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISA
Kata Kunci:
Latihan Fisik, Fatigue, Gagal Ginjal Kronis, HemodialisisAbstrak
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is structural or functional kidney damage that occurs for > 3 months which affects health by fulfilling one of: 1. kidney damage, 2. decreased glomerular filtration rate (GFR) < 60 ml/minute / 1.73 m3. Fatigue is a side effect that is often experienced by CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Fatigue is a symptom of uremic syndrome which causes a decrease in erythropoietin production resulting in anemia. The aim of this literature review is to identify the effect of physical exercise on fatigue in patients undergoing hemodialysis. This literature review involves searching publication results on the Google Scholar and Pubmed data bases between 2020-2024 using the PRISMA method. The keywords used are physical exercise, fatigue, chronic kidney failure, hemodialysis. Search for articles related to 6 sources included in the inclusion criteria. The research results show that physical exercise such as intradialytic exercise, stretching exercise, PEOL and VREP are effective in reducing complaints of fatigue in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis.
