PENGARUH PELAYANAN INFORMASI OBAT TERHADAP OUTCOME KLINIS DAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI UPTD PUSKESMAS RIMBO BUJANG IX KABUPATEN TEBO

Prevalensi hipertensi di Indonesia akan mengalami peningkatan pada tahun-tahun mendatang. Pengembangan layanan konseling dan edukasi obat menjadi strategi dalam pengelolaan pasien hipertensi. Di Provinsi Jambi Hipertensi masuk dalam 10 penyakit terbanyak, Tahun 2022 menurut daftar tabulasi menunjukkan bahwa dari total kasus sebanyak 484.610 kasus, penyakit Hipertensi pada urutan kedua dengan jumlah kasus sebanyak 123,478 kasus (25,48%). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelayanan informasi obat terhadap outcome klinis dan kualitas hidup pasien hipertensi di UPTD Puskesmas Rimbo Bujang IX. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimental one group with pretest-posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan di UPTD Puskesmas Rimbo Bujang IX Kabupaten Tebo. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei s/d Juni 2024. Sampel penelitian pasien yang berobat dan menebus resep obat antihipertensi di UPTD Puskesmas Rimbo Bujang IX sebanyak 98 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 59,2 % responden berjenis kelamin perempuan, 36,7% responden berusia 46-55 tahun, 40,8% responden sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik sebelum diberikan PIO (pretest) adalah 161,78 mmHg dan setelah diberikan PIO (postest) sebesar 143,40 mmHg. Sebelum diberikan PIO (pretest) kualitas hidup responden kategori cukup (75,5%) dan setelah diberikan PIO (postest) menjadi baik (84,7%). Ada pengaruh pemberian informasi obat dengan outcome klinis dan kualitas hidup pasien hipertensi (p-value < 0,05). Diharapkan kepada puskesmas untuk melakukan pelayanan informasi obat kepada pasien hipertensi yang berkunjung ke puskesmas.
The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia will increase in the coming years. The development of counseling services and drug education is a strategy in managing hypertensive patients. In Jambi Province, hypertension is included in the 10 most common diseases. This study aims to determine the effect of drug information services on clinical outcomes and quality of life for hypertensive patients at the UPTD Rimbo Bujang IX Health Center. This research uses a quasi-experimental one group approach with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at the UPTD Rimbo Bujang IX Community Health Center, Tebo Regency. The research was conducted from May to June 2024. The research sample of patients who received treatment and filled prescriptions for antihypertensive drugs at the UPTD Rimbo Bujang IX Health Center was 98 people. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The research results showed that 59.2% of respondents were female, 36.7% of respondents were aged 46-55 years, 40.8% of respondents were housewives. The average systolic blood pressure before being given PIO (pretest) was 161.78 mmHg and after being given PIO (posttest) was 143.40 mmHg. Before being given PIO (pretest), the quality of life of respondents was in the adequate category (75.5%) and after being given PIO (posttest) it became good (84.7%). There is an influence of providing drug information on clinical outcomes and quality of life for hypertensive patients (p-value < 0.05). It is hoped that the puskesmas will provide drug information services to hypertensive patients who visit the puskesmas.
