WORK ENGAGEMENT SEBAGAI PREDIKTOR ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR PADA KARYAWAN PT.X

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran prediktif Work Engagement terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada karyawan PT. X. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional/prediktif ini melibatkan 74 karyawan PT. X sebagai partisipan, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Work Engagement dan skala OCB, dengan analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat Work Engagement karyawan berada pada kategori Tinggi (100%), sementara OCB berada pada kategori Tinggi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Work Engagement terbukti signifikan dalam memprediksi OCB, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.007 (p < 0.05). Nilai R Square sebesar 0.095 mengindikasikan bahwa Work Engagement menyumbang 9,5% terhadap variasi OCB. Secara kesimpulan, hipotesis penelitian diterima, menegaskan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat keterikatan kerja karyawan, semakin tinggi pula perilaku ekstra-peran yang ditunjukkan.
This study aimed to examine the predictive role of Work Engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees of PT. X. This quantitative research, employing a correlational/predictive design, involved 74 employees of PT. X as participants, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods utilized the Work Engagement scale and the OCB scale, with data analysis performed using simple linear regression. The results indicated that the employees' level of Work Engagement was in the High category (100%), while their OCB was in the High category. Hypothesis testing results demonstrated that Work Engagement was proven significant in predicting OCB, evidenced by significance of 0.007 (p < 0.05). The R Square value of 0.095 indicated that Work Engagement contributed 9,5% to the variance in OCB. In conclusion, the research hypothesis was accepted, confirming that the higher the level of employee engagement, the higher the extra-role behavior demonstrated.
