MEMAHAMI MATAN HADIS MELALUI LENSA HERMENEUTIKA: PENDEKATAN INTERPRETATIF DALAM STUDI HADIS

Abstrak

Kajian hadis selama ini cenderung didominasi oleh pendekatan yang bersifat literal dan tekstual. Namun, dalam perkembangannya, terdapat upaya untuk memahami hadis dengan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif, salah satunya adalah pendekatan hermeneutika. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemahaman matan hadis melalui pendekatan hermeneutika sebagai sebuah upaya dalam memahami dan memaknai hadis Nabi saw. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan analisis deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan hermeneutika memberikan perspektif baru dalam memahami matan hadis, di mana teks hadis tidak hanya dipahami secara literal, tetapi juga mencakup konteks historis, sosial, dan kultural saat hadis tersebut disampaikan. Contoh penerapan hermeneutika dalam kajian matan hadis juga dibahas dalam artikel ini, untuk menunjukkan bagaimana pendekatan ini dapat menghasilkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif dengan mempertimbangkan aspek historis, linguistik, dan kontekstual sehingga diperoleh pemahaman yang holistik dan relevan dengan realitas kekinian.

Abstract: Hadith studies so far tend to be dominated by literal and textual approaches. However, in its development, there are efforts to understand hadith with a more comprehensive approach, one of which is the hermeneutic approach. This article aims to examine the understanding of hadith matan through a hermeneutical approach as an effort to understand and interpret the Prophet's hadith. The research method used is a literature study with descriptive-qualitative analysis. The results show that the hermeneutical approach provides a new perspective in understanding the matan of the hadith, where the text of the hadith is not only understood literally, but also includes the historical, social, and cultural context in which the hadith was delivered. Examples of the application of hermeneutics in the study of hadith matan are also discussed in this article, to show how this approach can produce a more comprehensive understanding by considering historical, linguistic, and contextual aspects so as to obtain a holistic understanding that is relevant to contemporary reality.
