PENINDAKAN KEIMIGRASIAN: STRATEGI DAN KEBIJAKAN EFEKTIF DALAM MENGATASI MASALAH MIGRASI ILEGAL

Effective immigration enforcement is essential in addressing the challenges posed by illegal migration. This article delves into successful strategies and policies employed globally to tackle this issue. The focus is on enhancing border surveillance, strengthening law enforcement, and fostering international cooperation. A holistic and coordinated approach involving immigration agencies, law enforcement, and international institutions is crucial in addressing the complexities of illegal migration. Evaluating the sustainability and positive societal and economic impacts of these strategies is integral to their success. This comprehensive overview underscores the significance of collaborative efforts in developing and implementing immigration enforcement measures.

LITERATURE REVIEW: FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP PEMILIHAN COFFEE SHOP SEBAGAI WADAH INTERAKSI SOSIAL PADA GEN Z

Coffee shops have become a social phenomenon closely related to Generation Z’s lifestyle. This study aims to identify the trends and motivations that drive Generation Z to choose coffee shops as a space for social interaction. The research method applied is a literature study by analyzing 20 journal articles published in the last five years (2021–2025) obtained from Google Scholar, with 10 journals as the main data and the rest as supporting references. The results indicate that comfort, atmosphere, menu variety, pricing, and the influence of social media play significant roles in shaping Generation Z’s preferences for coffee shops. The study concludes that coffee shops function not only as consumption spaces but also as social, cultural, and psychological arenas that reinforce Generation Z’s identity.

Coffee shop kini menjadi fenomena sosial yang erat kaitannya dengan gaya hidup Generasi Z. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tren dan motivasi yang mendorong Generasi Z memilih coffee shop sebagai wadah interaksi sosial. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi literatur dengan menganalisis 20 jurnal terbitan lima tahun terakhir (2021–2025) yang diperoleh dari Google Scholar, dengan 10 jurnal dijadikan data utama dan sisanya sebagai pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor kenyamanan, suasana, variasi menu, harga, serta dukungan media sosial memengaruhi keputusan Generasi Z dalam memilih coffee shop. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah coffee shop berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai ruang konsumsi, tetapi juga sebagai ruang sosial, budaya, dan psikologis yang memperkuat identitas Generasi Z.

PERAN SISTEM INFORMASI KEIMIGRASIAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEPATUHAN IZIN TINGGAL WNA

Increased global mobility encourages the need for an efficient and adaptive immigration system, especially in managing foreign residence permits (WNA). One of the main challenges facing the Directorate General of Immigration is the low level of compliance with residence permit provisions, such as cases of overstay or abuse of permits. This study aims to analyze the role of immigration information systems including SIMKIM, e-Visa, and automatic warning systems in increasing compliance with WNA residence permits in Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through literature studies and documentation analysis, this study found that immigration information systems have a significant contribution in increasing transparency, efficiency, and accuracy of supervision of residence permits. In addition, digitizing services provides WNA with easy access to renew and monitor the status of their permits. However, some obstacles such as integration between systems that are not yet optimal and the limitations of digital literacy in users are still obstacles in the overall application of technology. This research recommends strengthening technology infrastructure, training for officers, and increasing education to the COLA as a strategic step to maximize the role of information systems in supporting immigration compliance.

Peningkatan mobilitas global mendorong perlunya sistem keimigrasian yang efisien dan adaptif, terutama dalam mengelola izin tinggal warga negara asing (WNA). Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi adalah rendahnya tingkat kepatuhan terhadap ketentuan izin tinggal, seperti kasus overstay atau penyalahgunaan izin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sistem informasi keimigrasian termasuk SIMKIM, e-Visa, dan sistem peringatan otomatis dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan izin tinggal WNA di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi literatur dan analisis dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sistem informasi keimigrasian memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan transparansi, efisiensi, dan akurasi pengawasan izin tinggal. Selain itu, digitalisasi layanan memberikan kemudahan akses bagi WNA dalam memperbarui dan memantau status izin mereka. Namun, beberapa kendala seperti integrasi antar sistem yang belum optimal serta keterbatasan literasi digital pada pengguna masih menjadi hambatan dalam penerapan teknologi secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan infrastruktur teknologi, pelatihan bagi petugas, serta peningkatan edukasi kepada WNA sebagai langkah strategis untuk memaksimalkan peran sistem informasi dalam mendukung kepatuhan keimigrasian.
