PERAN LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMAS YAPIM MABAR

This journal aims to analyze the role of the environment in Indonesian language learning at SMAS Yapim Mabar, focusing on the physical and social school environment as well as the influence of multiracial and multilingual communities. The research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods including interviews, documentation, and observation. The study reveals that a comfortable physical environment equipped with adequate facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, and libraries has a positive impact on learning motivation and student engagement in Indonesian language learning. Positive social interactions between students and teachers also play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of learning through open communication, active discussions, and collaboration in learning activities. Furthermore, the diversity of languages, cultures, and backgrounds among students in a multiracial and multilingual environment adds value by enriching learning experiences, understanding language richness, and developing Indonesian language skills. From these findings, it is concluded that effective management of the learning environment and promotion of positive social interactions are key factors in enhancing the effectiveness of Indonesian language learning at SMAS Yapim Mabar.
