Abstract
The pregnancy period is very important in efforts to prevent stunting. Local foods such as orange sweet potatoes are a source of additional nutritious food that can prevent stunting. The aim of this research is to make local food based on orange sweet potatoes as a nutritious additional food ingredient to prevent stunting. Research methods include stunting counseling methods, stunting understanding questionnaires before and after counseling and demonstrations of orange sweet potato smoothie processing. The results of the research show that the use of local food made from orange sweet potato as an effort to prevent stunting and increase nutritional intake, especially for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers at Posyandu Pandan Sari Landasan Ulin Selatan, is used as an ingredient in smoothies. This research can conclude that local food made from orange sweet potato has the potential to improve nutrition.
