Abstrak

Children in elementary schools prefer drinks containing artificial sweeteners rather than traditional herbal drinks which are considered unpleasant. The content of dangerous substances in drinks that are sold freely is not good for continuous consumption. This situation causes the existence of traditional Indonesian herbal drinks to sink. Spices in Indonesia are varied and abundant, so they have many health benefits. According to the Malang City Health Office, as many as 253 children were exposed during Covid-19. So, post-pandemic treatment is needed so that children's immune systems are not easily attacked by disease again. The community service team provides solutions to increase awareness of child health after the Covid-19 pandemic through Mariney herbs (Curcuma, Tamarind, Honey) at the Nur Hikmah natural school, Malang City. Research methods use field surveys, interviews, coordination with elementary school teachers and the community, and implementing service programs. The results and implementation of this community service are Mariney herbal products, video tutorials for making Mariney herbal medicine, posters, and children's health educational story books. Mariney herbal products can be developed and disseminated to children in elementary schools. The results of the service program can be seen based on the results of questionnaires filled out by students in elementary schools. Students are enthusiastic and benefit from Mariney's training.
