Mutu pelayanan keperawatan merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam menjamin keselamatan serta kepuasan pasien di rumah sakit. Penilaian kinerja perawat berbasis indikator mutu menjadi instrumen strategis untuk memantau, mengevaluasi, dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman perawat mengenai penilaian kinerja berbasis indikator mutu guna mendukung pencapaian indikator mutu keperawatan di RS Kusuma Ungaran. Edukasi diberikan kepada 12 perawat melalui metode ceramah, diskusi interaktif, serta evaluasi pengetahuan dengan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan rata-rata jawaban benar sebesar 83,3% dan jawaban salah sebesar 16,7%. Setelah diberikan edukasi, hasil post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan 100% jawaban benar pada seluruh peserta. Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, diperoleh nilai p = 0.004 (p < 0.05), yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test. Dengan demikian, kegiatan edukasi ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan perawat mengenai penilaian kinerja berbasis indikator mutu, sehingga diharapkan dapat berdampak positif terhadap pencapaian indikator mutu keperawatan di rumah sakit.
The quality of nursing care is one of the key components in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction in hospitals. Nurse performance appraisal based on quality indicators serves as a strategic instrument to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of nursing services. This community service activity aimed to enhance nurses’ understanding of performance appraisal using quality indicators to support the achievement of nursing quality indicators at Kusuma Ungaran Hospital. Education was provided to 12 nurses through lectures, interactive discussions, and knowledge evaluation using pre-test and post-test assessments. The pre-test results showed an average of 83.3% correct answers and 16.7% incorrect answers. After the educational intervention, the post-test results demonstrated a significant improvement with 100% correct answers from all participants. Based on the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, the p-value obtained was 0.004 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. These findings confirm that the educational activity was effective in improving nurses’ knowledge of performance appraisal based on quality indicators, which is expected to have a positive impact on achieving nursing quality indicators in the hospital.
