PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V SD NEGERI 34 PONTIANAK KOTA

This study aims to determine the application of the Discovery Learning model on Student Learning Outcomes in Science Learning for Class V of Elementary School 34 Pontianak City. The method used is a quasi-experimental (Quasi-Experimental Design) with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design research design. The population is all students in class V consisting of 4 classes. The sample of this study was class VA students totaling 29 students as the experimental class and class VB totaling 27 students as the control class. The data collection technique used was the measurement technique and the data collection tool was a written test in the form of multiple choice questions. Based on the data analysis, the average result of the final test of the experimental class was 80,44 and the average final test of the control class was 66,70. The results of the hypothesis test using the Independent sample t-test were 56 students with a significance value of 0.01 <0.05, T-count of 5.030354 and T-table of 2.00324. Because the T-count value (5.030354)> T-table (2.00324), the alternative hypothesis ???????? is rejected and ????????is accepted. This proves that there is an influence of the discovery learning model on the results of learning science. Based on the results of the effect size calculation, a value of 1.345 was obtained with very high criteria. It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model has a positive effect on the results of learning science in class V of SD Negeri 34 Pontianak.
