ANALISIS DAMPAK TRADISI LARUNG SESAJI TERHADAP PEREKENOMIAN MASYARAKAT PUGER KULON

Abstrak

This research aims to analyze the impact of the Larung Sesaji tradition on the economy of the Puger Kulon community. Fundamentally, Indonesia is also known as an archipelago, so called because the territory of Indonesia consists of a series of islands stretching from Sabang to Merauke. Not only does it produce food sources, but the existence of this archipelago also produces a colossal cultural diversity among coastal communities. One of the cultures produced by coastal communities is the Larung sesaji culture, although it is colossal Larung sesaji is not carried out by people in all corners of the coast. The research method used in this article is qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Larung Sesaji tradition has a positive impact on the economy of the Puger Kulon community, such as increasing community income, developing local products and several others.
