Learning motivation is an important indicator in getting an educational award. This study aims to determine the role of self-regulated learning in mediating the effect of self-efficacy on learning motivation. A total of 97 students participated in this study. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The data collected used the self-efficacy scale, SRL scale, and learning motivation scale to measure various aspects of self-efficacy. According to data analysis using the Hayes Mascro Process, independent learning is not able to mediate the factors between self-efficacy and learning motivation. The implication of this research is an effort to hone students' skills in planning and managing learning activities, not only in intra-school but also extra-school.
