PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI EKOSISTEM FASE E SMAN 12 PADANG

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan guru dalam penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Dimana guru belum melakukan penerapan model Problem Based Learning dengan maksimal karena peserta didik tidak melakukan penyelidikan yang sesuai dengan sintaks pada model PBL dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi ekosistem fase E SMAN 12 padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu dilihat berdasarkan rata-rata nilai ulangan harian peserta didik yang mendekati dan guru yang mengjar di kelas sama. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah fase E.8 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pembelajaran dengan model PBL dan fase E.9 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran langsung. Teknik analisis data, yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 24. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Kompetensi penegtahuan kelas eksperimen (75,7) sedangkan kelas kontrol (60,9). Hasil kompetensi sikap pada kelas eksperimen (81,5) sedangkan kelas kontrol (74). Hasil kompetensi keterampilan kelas eksperimen (78,6) sedangkan kelas kontrol (71,3). Hasil uji hipotesis penelitian dilihat dari nilai signifikansi 2-tailed <0,05 yaitu 0,000 untuk kompetensi pengetahuan, 0,001 kompetensi sikap, dan 0,007 kompetensi keterampilan. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif model PBL terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik Fase E SMAN 12 Padang pada materi ekosistem.

This research is motivated by teachers' problems in implementing the model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Where the teacher has not implemented the model Problem Based Learning to the maximum because students do not carry out investigations that are in accordance with the syntax of the PBL model in learning. This type of research isQuasy Experiment which aims to determine the influence of the learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) on student learning outcomes in phase E ecosystem material at SMAN 12 Padang. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, that is, it is seen based on the average daily test scores of students who are close to those of teachers who teach in the same class. The sample in this research is phase E.8 as an experimental class that applies learning using the PBL model and phase E.9 as a control class that applies direct learning. Data analysis techniques, namely normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test with the help of the SPSS 24 application. Based on the research conducted, it is known that the learning outcomes for knowledge, attitudes and skills competency in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class. The knowledge competency of the experimental class was (75.7) while the control class was (60.9). The results of attitude competency in the experimental class were (81.5) while the control class was (74). The skills competency results for the experimental class were (78.6) while those for the control class were (71.3). The results of the research hypothesis test can be seen from the 2-tailed significance value <0.05, namely 0.000 for knowledge competency, 0.001 for attitude competency, and 0.007 for skills competency. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the PBL model on the learning outcomes of Phase E students at SMAN 12 Padang on ecosystem material.
