Abstrak

Dalam era teknologi informasi yang berkembang pesat, penggunaan media digital dalam pendidikan menjadi semakin penting. Belajar mengajar konvensional tidak lagi menarik minat siswa karena terasa membosankan, termasuk dalam belajar mengajar SKI. Materi SKI, yang berhubungan dengan sejarah Islam, memerlukan pendekatan yang kreatif dan inovatif agar siswa tetap tertarik dan termotivasi. Penggunaan media teknologi seperti YouTube menjadi solusi yang efektif. Media belajar mengajar youtube bisa meningkatkan minat dan semangat belajar siswa, memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep yang kompleks, dan memberikan akses mudah terhadap konten pendidikan yang menarik. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi dan manfaat penggunaan platform YouTube sebagai media nelajar mengajar dalam konteks sejarah kebudayaan Islam. Metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan library research digunakan pada riset ini. Riset ini menghasilkan pernyataan bahwa penggunaan media Youtube untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar SKI memiliki potensi dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.
