Abstrak

Psychology of Christian Religion education is a discipline that combines psychological principles with Christian religious education to understand and assist the development of students in the context of the Christian faith. In this approach, each individual is considered an image of God (Imago Dei), possessing high intrinsic value but also vulnerable to sin. Educational Psychology of Christian Religion views students as subjects in the educational process with complex dimensions of the mind, emotions, and will. Knowledge of Educational Psychology of Christian Religion is crucial for Christian educators, enabling them to understand students in the context of the Christian faith and influence their development. Qualitative research methods are used to gain insights in this context. The research results indicate that Educational Psychology of Christian Religion contributes to the formation of character, morality, religious identity, and Christian values in students by considering values such as love, justice, and obedience in the educational process. This research outlines the role of Educational Psychology of Christian Religion in shaping the development of students in the context of Christian religion.
