Interest in reading among teenagers is currently experiencing a significant decline, becoming a serious problem that needs to be addressed. Literacy plays an important role in self-development, and innovation in school libraries is one reliable solution. This research aims to analyze the innovations implemented in the Lentera Ilmu Library at SMP Negeri 1 Padang and their impact on students' reading interest. With a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews with library directors, teachers and students, as well as direct observation of library facilities and activities. The research results show that the innovations implemented, such as digital-based services, creative spaces, and literacy programs, have succeeded in increasing students' interest in reading. Facilities such as literacy corners, discussion areas, and collaboration with various external parties also contribute to the development of literacy among teenagers. It is hoped that this research can provide a school library model that is effective in increasing interest in reading and making a significant contribution to the development of literacy culture in Indonesia.
