PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN LOGIS MATEMATIS ANAK MELALUI PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL DAKON DI TK KARTINI DESA AMADANOM KECAMATAN DAMPIT

Tujuan pembelajaran pada anak usia dini diantaranya untuk memberikan stimulus dalam mengembangkan aspek kognitif. Aspek kognitif menyangkut kecerdasan logis matematis dan naturalis. Stimulus aspek kognitif haruslah tepat dalam memilih media yang digunakan. Salah satu media yang dapat dikembangkan adalah permainan dakon. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan logis matematis anak melalui permainan tradisional dakon di TK Kartini Desa Amadanom Kecamatan Dampit. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian hibrid kombinasi antara jenis penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pendekatan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model spiral Kemmis dan McTaggart yang meliputi empat tahap. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia dini kelompok B di TK Kartini Desa Amadanom Kecamatan Dampit berjumlah 10 anak. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan permainan tradisional dakon mampu meningkatkan kemampuan logis matematis anak usia dini secara signifikan. Pada siklus I, kemampuan logis matematis anak masih berada pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan 50%, belum berkembang 20%, mulai berkembang 30%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran pada siklus II, anak mengalami peningkatan pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan 20% dan berkembang sangat baik 80%. Guru pendidikan anak usia dini dapat memanfaatkan permainan dakon dalam mengembangkan kemampuan logis matematis anak.
One of the learning objectives in early childhood education is to provide stimulation to develop cognitive aspects. Cognitive development includes logical-mathematical and naturalistic intelligence. Stimulation of cognitive aspects must be appropriately designed through the selection of suitable learning media. One learning medium that can be developed is the traditional game dakon. This study aims to improve children’s logical-mathematical abilities through the traditional dakon game at TK Kartini, Amadanom Village, Dampit District. The research employed a hybrid method combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study used a classroom action research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, which consists of four stages. The research subjects were 10 children in Group B at TK Kartini, Amadanom Village, Dampit District. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the traditional dakon game significantly improved early childhood logical-mathematical abilities. In Cycle I, children’s logical-mathematical abilities were categorized as developing as expected (50%), not yet developed (20%), and beginning to develop (30%). After improvements were made in Cycle II, children showed an increase in the categories of developing as expected (20%) and very well developed (80%). Early childhood education teachers can utilize the dakon game to enhance children’s logical-mathematical abilities.
