ANALISIS KOMPETENSI ANDRAGOGI KADER TIM PENDAMPING KELUARGA (TPK) DALAM PENCEGAHAN STUNTING DI KECAMATAN MEDAN SUNGGAL

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kompetensi andragogi kader Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) dalam pencegahan stunting di Kecamatan Medan Sunggal, serta mendeskripsikan aspek konsep diri, pengalaman, orientasi, dan kesiapan diri kader dalam menjalankan perannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian berupa kader TPK, tenaga kesehatan, dan pengelola program pencegahan stunting di Kecamatan Medan Sunggal. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kader TPK memiliki konsep diri yang kuat sebagai fasilitator perubahan dalam pencegahan stunting; (2) Pengalaman lapangan kader memperkaya kemampuan mereka dalam menyesuaikan pendekatan pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan keluarga; (3) Orientasi pembelajaran kader berfokus pada pemecahan masalah nyata yang dihadapi keluarga; (4) Kesiapan diri kader yang matang, baik secara mental, emosional, maupun kognitif, mendukung efektivitas pendampingan keluarga. Faktor pendukung kompetensi andragogi kader meliputi pelatihan berkelanjutan, dukungan tenaga kesehatan, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Sementara itu, tantangan yang dihadapi berkaitan dengan keterbatasan sumber daya dan dinamika sosial keluarga.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the andragogical competence of Family Assistance Team (TPK) cadres in preventing stunting in Medan Sunggal District, as well as to describe aspects of self-concept, experience, orientation, and readiness of cadres in carrying out their roles. This study uses a qualitative method with research subjects consisting of TPK cadres, health workers, and stunting prevention program managers in Medan Sunggal District. The sampling technique was carried out purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interview. Data analysis was conducted through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) TPK cadres have a strong self-concept as facilitators of change in stunting prevention; (2) The cadres’ field experience enriches their ability to adapt learning approaches to the needs of families; (3) The learning orientation of cadres focuses on solving real problems faced by families; (4) The cadres’ readiness, mentally, emotionally, and cognitively mature, supports the effectiveness of family assistance. Supporting factors for cadre andragogical competence include continuous training, support from health workers, and the utilization of digital technology. Meanwhile, challenges faced relate to limited resources and the social dynamics of families.
