Abstrak

Pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia dalam mengembangkan potensi diri dan memahami dunia, dimana guru memegang peran sentral dalam menentukan mutu hasil pendidikan. Kualitas guru, baik dari segi profesionalisme maupun kesejahteraan sangat memengaruhi kualitas pendidikan dan capaian hasil belajar peserta didik. Pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada trasnfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter, pewaris nilai, serta pengembangan potensi psikis dan fisik peserta didik. Mata pelejaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti memiliki peran strategi dalam membentuk karakter dan moral peserta didik, namun capaian hasil belajar di SMPN 2 Karawang Barat masih belum optimal. Rendahnya capaian ini diduga berkaitan dengan kualitas interaksi antara guru dan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran, termasuk komunikasi, perhatian personal dan suasana kelas yang kondusif. Kurangnya interaksi efektif menyebabkan pembelajaran menjadi monoton, menurunkan motivasi belajar, dan membuat peserta didik kurang berkontribusi atau tidak memperhatikan materi. Variasi latar belakang peserta didik, seperti ekonomi, bahasa, karakter, kecerdasan dan semangat belajar, menuntut guru untuk mampu menyampaikan materi secara inklusif dan menarik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh kualitas interaksi guru terhadap capaian hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti di SMPN 2 Karawang barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Proses pengumpulan data dengan teknis penyebaran angket secara langsung kepada responden sebanyak 80 peserta didik, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh diperiksa menggunakan SPSS versi 25.0 for windows. Teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif, uji prasyarat (uji normalitas dan uji linearitas), uji korelasi, uji determinasi, uji signifikansi, dan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas interaksi guru kelas VIII SMPN 2 Karawang Barat mayoritas berada pada kaegori sedang (62,5%), demikian pula dengan capaian hasil belajar PAI dan Budi Pekerti berada pada kategori sedang (73,75%). Data kualitas interaksi guru terhadap capaian hasil belajar keduanya berdistribusi normal. Analisis linearitas dadn korelas mengindikasikan adanya hubungan linera dan positif yang sangat kuat (r = 0,823) antara kualitas interaksi guru dengan capaian hasil belaajr peserta didik. Hasil uji determinasi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas interaksi mampu menjelaskan 67,7% variasi dalam hasil belajar. Persamaan regresi Ŷ = 53,132 + 0,417X menegaskan bahwa setiap peningkatan kualitas interaksi guru secara signifikan meningkatkan capaian hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demukian kualitas interaksi guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap capaian hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII.

Education is a basic human need in developing self-potential and understanding the world, where teachers play a central role in determining the quality of educational outcomes. The quality of teachers, both in terms of professionalism and welfare, greatly affects the quality of education and the achievement of student learning outcomes. Education does not only focus on the transfer of knowledge, but also the formation of character, the inheritance of values, and the development of the psychological and physical potential of students. The subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education have a strategic role in shaping the character and morals of students, but the achievement of learning outcomes at SMPN 2 Karawang Barat is still not optimal. This low achievement is thought to be related to the quality of interaction between teachers and students during the learning process, including communication, personal attention and a conducive classroom atmosphere. The lack of effective interaction causes learning to become monotonous, reduces learning motivation, and makes students contribute less or not pay attention to the material. The variety of student backgrounds, such as economics, language, character, intelligence and enthusiasm for learning, requires teachers to be able to deliver material in an inclusive and interesting way. Therefore, this study aims to understand the influence of the quality of teacher interaction on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects at SMPN 2 West Karawang. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a correlational type. The data collection process was carried out by directly distributing questionnaires to 80 student respondents, as well as through observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests (normality and linearity tests), correlation tests, determination tests, significance tests, and simple regression analysis. The results of the study show that the quality of teacher interaction among eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Karawang Barat is mostly in the moderate category (62.5%), and likewise, the learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education are also in the moderate category (73.75%). The data for both teacher interaction quality and learning outcomes are normally distributed. Linearity and correlation analyses indicate a very strong positive linear relationship (r = 0.823) between the quality of teacher interaction and student learning outcomes. The determination test results show that teacher interaction quality explains 67.7% of the variation in learning outcomes. The regression equation Ŷ = 53.132 + 0.417X confirms that every increase in teacher interaction quality significantly increases student learning outcomes. Therefore, teacher interaction quality has a positive and significant influence on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students.
