This study aims to develop a booklet as a learning medium on the life cycle of animals to enhance the creative thinking skills of third-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Dongos, Kedung Subdistrict, Jepara Regency. The research design used was Research and Development (R&D) based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects consisted of 26 third-grade students who received instruction using the booklet learning material. Learning outcome data were collected through pretests and posttests, then analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the paired-sample t-test with the assistance of Jamovi. The results of the normality test indicated that the pretest data (p = 0.131) and posttest data (p = 0.053) were normally distributed (p > 0.05). The students’ average pretest score of 60.3 increased to 81.7 on the posttest, with an N-Gain of 0.54, which falls into the moderate category. The t-test results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores (t = -12.5; df = 25; p < 0.001) with a very large effect size (Cohen’s d = -2.44). It can be concluded that the booklet on the life cycle of animals, developed using the ADDIE model, is effective in improving learning outcomes while also fostering students’ creative thinking skills in elementary school.
