Identified several learning problems faced by grade 5 students at SDN Salatiga 12, namely the lack of student involvement in the science and science learning process and the lack of implementation of learning models that suit the students' needs. Learning tends to become a routine activity, where teachers deliver material, carry out evaluations, and give grades without carrying out in-depth analysis of the causes of students' lack of understanding. This condition causes students to experience difficulties in working on summative and formative questions related to the science material. This fact encouraged the author to conduct research with a focus on "efforts to improve science and science learning outcomes using a jigsaw type cooperative learning model with the assistance of teaching aids in class V of SDN Salatiga 12 Semester II 2024/2025 academic year". The results of the research show that there are significant improvements in The quality of science and science learning using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in class 5 of SD Negeri Salatiga 12. First, teacher performance experienced a suitable increase. In cycle I, teacher performance was assessed with an assessment score of 40 or a percentage of 71.42%, but in cycle II the teacher assessment score increased to 47. or a percentage of 90.38%, which shows that the teacher's performance is in the very good category. This indicates that the teacher succeeded in implementing the cooperative learning model more effectively after making improvements. Second, student participation and activity in learning also increased students only achieved 75% of the maximum score, but in cycle II, student activity increased to 93.75%, indicating that students were more involved and active in learning with the jigsaw cooperative learning model after corrective action was taken.Unduhan
