MINYAK GORENG DAN PARADOKS NEGERI KELAPA SAWIT: ANALISIS DESKRIPTIF PENINGKATAN HARGA MINYAK GORENG MASIF DI INDONESIA PADA TAHUN 2022

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika kompleks permasalahan minyak goreng di Indonesia pada tahun 2022, dengan fokus utama pada analisis faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap lonjakan harga dan kelangkaan minyak goreng. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan dan mengevaluasi peran pemerintah dalam menangani krisis tersebut. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi dokumentasi, penelitian mengungkap bahwa permasalahan minyak goreng disebabkan oleh tiga faktor utama: (1) kompleksitas rantai distribusi, (2) ketidakefektifan kebijakan pemerintah, dan (3) minimnya peran pemerintah dalam pengelolaan pasokan Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Interaksi antara struktur distribusi yang panjang, kebijakan regulasi yang tidak responsif, dan keterbatasan pemerintah dalam mengelola pasokan CPO telah menciptakan ekosistem yang rentan terhadap gejolak harga. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan ketidakstabilan pasokan dan harga minyak goreng yang merugikan konsumen dan pelaku usaha.
This study examines the complex dynamics of the cooking oil problem in Indonesia in 2022, with a primary focus on analyzing the factors that contribute to the spike in cooking oil prices and scarcity. The research aims to identify the root causes and evaluate the government's role in handling the crisis. Through a qualitative approach with a documentation study method, the research revealed that the cooking oil problem is caused by three main factors: (1) the complexity of the distribution chain, (2) the ineffectiveness of government policies, and (3) the minimal role of the government in managing Crude Palm Oil (CPO) supply.The interaction between the long distribution structure, unresponsive regulatory policies, and the government's limitations in managing CPO supply has created an ecosystem that is vulnerable to price volatility. These conditions result in cooking oil supply and price instability that is detrimental to consumers and businesses.
